"Sister-in-law, someone has come to meet you." Durak stood at the door of her room and informed her."From me?" She was surprised and put the clothes that she had taken out to freshen up on the bed and came with her to the lounge.Mak had left the house an hour ago for some work. میک ایک گھنٹہ پہلے ہی گھر سے کسی کام کا کہہ کر نکل گیا تھا ۔ وہ دورک کے ساتھ لاونج میں آئی تو وہاں کھڑے لوگوں کو دیکھ کر حیران ہو گئی ۔

" آپ لوگ ؟ ۔ " اس نے حیرت سے انہیں دیکھا ۔

" میرال بیٹا کیسی ہو تم ؟ ۔ " مسز زبیر اور ڈاکٹر زبیر سرعت سے اس کی طرف بڑھے ۔

" آپ لوگ یہاں کیسے انکل آنٹی ؟ ۔ " وہ ابھی تک حیرت میں تھی ۔ دورک کو اردو کم سمجھ آتی تھی اس لئے خاموش کھڑا بس ان کے تاثرات جانچ رہا تھا ۔

" بڑی مشکل سے تمہارا پتا لگایا ہے اور تم یہاں ہو کیسی ہو تم اور اپنا گھر کیوں چھوڑ دیا ؟ ۔ " ڈاکٹر زبیر نے ایک ساتھ کئی سوال کر ڈالے۔

" کیسی ہو سکتی ہوں بھائی اور ابو کے جانے کے بعد میں تو اکیلی ہو گئی تھی اس لئے بس یہاں آگئی ۔ " اس نے سر جھکا کر دھیمی آواز میں جواب دیا ۔

" ان کے جانے کا صدمہ ہمیں بھی ہے یوں اچانک بس جو اللہ کی مرضی ۔ " انہوں نے بھی آبدیدگی سے کہا ۔

" اور یہ کون ہے جہاں تک مجھے معلوم ہے حسان اور رافع کی پہچان والوں میں کبھی میں نے اس کو نہیں دیکھا ۔ " انہوں نے عجیب نظروں سے دورک کو دیکھ کر اس سے پوچھا ۔ ان کی عجیب نظریں دورک نے خود پر محسوس کر لی تھیں جیسے وہ کھٹک رہا ہو ان کی نظروں میں ۔

" یہ دورک ہے اور ۔ " وہ کہتے کہتے جھجھک گئی اب کیا کہہ کر اس کا تعارف کروائے ان سے وہ ۔ کیا بتائیں انہیں کہ وہ یہاں کیوں اور کیسے آئی ۔

" تم ہمارے ساتھ چلو میرال تم وہاں رہنا ۔ " انہوں نے اس کی بات پوری ہونے سے پہلے ہی کاٹ دی ۔

" مگر میں کیسے آپ لوگوں کے ساتھ چل سکتی ہوں انکل میں یہی ٹھیک ہوں ۔ " اس نے سہولت سے انکار کیا ۔

" دیکھو میرال یوں کسی غیر کے ساتھ رہنا مناسب نہیں ہے لوگ کیا کہیں گے وہ تو باتیں بنائیں گے تم ہماری عزت ہو ہماری ہونے والی بہو ہو تم ۔ " مسز زبیر نے ان کو اشارے سے چپ
